Now osseointegration is accepted as the mechanism of endosseous implants and
numerous efforts were made about material, design, surface condition, recipient bone bed,
surgical techniques and loading condition for the purpose of successful osseointegration.
Direct bone anchored dental implant was reliable method for restoration of missing
teeth and reliability of implant has been increased according to progress of surgical
technique and development of various implant systems.
The purpose of this study was to find out the best condition of implant installation
and to propose protocols of implant selection on the basis of our own experiences so we
reviewed current literature, as well as our clinical cases.
